As a leadership trainer with a background in leadership, I often hear the pitch of quick fixes and immediate results. Many people here on LinkedIn also focus on workshops that promise instant solutions to problems and claim to boost results overnight with the help of all effectiveness tools called “10 steps to…” or “3 most effective tools,” etc. I totally understand it, and it is a quick way to get attention. There is also a temptation for me to focus on this kind of approach as a leadership trainer.
But, I don’t buy into that approach.

Certainly, financial results are vital for a company’s survival and growth.
However, after too much focus on this aspect, modern leaders must also prioritize the psychological and mental well-being of their team. We need tools to focus on PEOPLE, not just the RESULTS they bring. To achieve this, we need the will to understand our role as influencers. All leadership trainers, along with leaders, are influencers. If we keep promoting only RESULTS, neglecting the true deep human side, or dealing with life, we risk sawing off the branch we’re sitting on as a society.
