Have you noticed that you tend to overthink things, and it disrupts your life – whether it’s worrying, overthinking projects, losing sleep or not being fully present for your family and, most importantly, yourself?

People often feel like they have to constantly be thinking and all thoughts are important and valuable and you cannot lose them. But mostly those thoughts are not useful, they are even negative or yours and are learned from someone else!

Thinking is like a hammer – you only need to use it when you need to drive a nail into the wall. But if there’s no nail, there’s no need to keep waving that hammer around and keeping yourself busy, hoping something will come up.

We can’t control things or take control of life with our thoughts anyway. Most of the time, it doesn’t bring the desired results.
In my experience, solutions ALWAYS come to the topics tangled in thoughts when you let those thoughts go for a couple of days and then come back to them. Just jot it down in your calendar that you’ll think about the unresolved situation again in 2 days. And then, in the meantime, don’t think about it at all.

I can assure you that things will work out, and the next time you think about it, the answers will be clear, and you’ll find the right nail.
