Last week, I had the privilege of speaking at a psychology conference organized by the Eesti Koolitus- ja Konverentsikeskus. I shared my thoughts on success and unlocking one’s potential.
Inspired by Deepak Chopra’s approach, I shared my belief that success can be divided into two categories: ๐ด๐ฆ๐ญ๐ง-๐ณ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ช๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ and ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ช๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐น๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐ง๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ๐ด.
While seeking external recognition and feedback can be valuable, relying solely on it can lead to uncertainty and constant striving. In contrast, self-reliance involves seeking inner strength and spiritual support, leading to a more natural and effortless flow in our lives.
At the conference, I also shared three steps to achieve self-reliant success:
In silence, we can find inner peace and strength. Simple way to do it: never use radio or music while driving.
Meditation allows us to connect with our inner power and discover our true potential.
It’s important to learn how not to let others’ opinions affect our inner strength. Trusting our own journey and continuing to move towards our goals.
So, how do you approach achieving success? Do you rely more on your inner strength or wait for external factors? How you define success?
Some years ago I defined success for me like this:
