Life is filled with regularities and moments of chaos, all of which together form our everyday reality. How we respond to these can greatly determine our well-being.
Having lived with a Brazilian for two years now, and currently being in Brazil, I have experienced their attitude towards time โ where, on one hand, precision is valued, such as the boat departing at exactly 8:30 AM, there exists on the other hand a timeless flow that knows no hurry or stress.
This experience has taught me that our own attitude towards time and order can significantly influence how we live and work.
In our daily lives and in our work, it is important to find balance โ the ability to live in the moment while recognizing the need for structure and precision.
We need not be overly bound by rigid schedules, but we must not forget the importance of precision and order. Just like a boat that departs the harbor at a designated time, we too must learn when it is the right time to act and when to let life flow at its own pace.
Reflect on how you perceive time. Does your current attitude support your well-being and success at work? How could we better integrate order and freedom to create a more complete and satisfying life?
