While walking on a beach in Brazil, a small stream of water trying to reach the ocean ran right before us. Observing this gave me a deeper understanding of the flow of life and our tendency to try to control it. We attempted to create a new path for it to reach the ocean more quickly, but each time it chose its own way.
Often in life, we try to create perfect paths, as if we could fully direct the processes that come our way. Just like the stream that seeks its own path, this teaches us that sometimes it’s best just to let life flow naturally. Our efforts to direct or accelerate this flow may prove futile and even exhausting.
The example on the beach showed how nature finds its own way, regardless of our intervention. From this event, it became clear to me that sometimes our interference does not speed up or facilitate processes but instead hinders their natural progression.
This understanding should encourage us to trust more in the processes around us, whether in personal life or the workplace.
Trusting that things will work out and goals will be achieved without excessive control can reduce stress and enhance our quality of life π
I invite you to consider how you view the flow of life. Do you try to control every detail, or do you allow yourself and others to move and grow freely? How does this affect your well-being and relationships at work? π€
